We are now looking for a Student Worker to join our Sales team as a Business Development Representative in Copenhagen. You will be part of our EMEA Sales team reporting to Ville Tuokila, Head of Sales, EMEA, and working in very close collaboration with our Nordic Account Executives.
The Role
The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays an important role in generating new sales opportunities within Nordics by qualifying leads for the Account Executives to close. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about being the first point of contact for our potentially new customers, can do outreach with great confidence, and understands the important role the BDR plays in our sales organization.
We are searching for the right person who is eager to jump right in, curious to learn and grow alongside an amazing group of people, with an emphasis on teamwork. This is the ideal role if you want to learn more about a career in sales while working through your studies! We expect this person to be in the office the majority of the time to work closely with the Head of Sales and our Account Executives while learning the tricks of the trade.
What you will do
- Running outbound Sales campaigns in the Nordic
- Generating Sales Qualified Opportunities for our Nordic Account Executives
- Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market
- Setting up meetings between prospective customers and Account Executives
- Staying up to date with the market landscape and new products and services
What we need from you- Currently, a student who is able to work 10-15 hours per week or more
- Comfortable with cold calling to generate new business
- Not afraid to navigate through conversations with various stakeholders during communications
- Willing to push through rejection that occurs and remain motivated and consistent
- Able to speak Norwegian fluently
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Ambition to succeed in a goal-oriented environment
- Good organizational and analytical skills
- Curious, team player by heart and possess never give up attitude
