Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Student Worker to join our dynamic team in the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) Program. As an student worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our efforts to create an inclusive and equitable environment for all individuals. Job Responsibilities
As an student worker you will:
- Collaborate with the DE&I team to action on DE&I initiatives identified in our strategy.
- Assist in researching best practices and trends in DE&I to support the development of innovative strategies.
- Contribute to the planning and coordination of DE&I events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Conduct data analysis and assist in preparing reports on DE&I metrics to measure progress and identify areas of improvement with the DE&I Global and Segment teams.
- Support the creation and dissemination of educational material resources, and communications related to DE&I initiatives.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating employee resource groups, and other community building activities.
- Collaborate with DE&I and talent subject matter experts within various departments to ensure DE&I is integrated into policies, practices, and decision-making processes.
- Actively participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and understanding of DE&I topics.
Background & Skills To be considered for this role, you should
- Currently enrolled as a student in a college or university program
- Strong interest and commitment in diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a strong team player.
- Demonstrate organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiently in conducting research and analyzing data to support evidence-based decision making.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Specifically, PowerPoint.
