Then you could be our new Senior Software Specialist for embedded controllers in the Climate Solutions segment. Job Responsibilities
As a specialist, you are responsible for designing, testing, and implementing software. You will also be expected to create reports, and mentor the junior developers.
Your main tasks will be to:
- Develop embedded software for microcontrollers (often ARM based)
- Develop the embedded software using C/C++
- Implement algorithms that support the given application
- Perform test and validation on the product you are developing
- Cooperate with internal SW architects and peer teams
- Cooperate with external partners - consultants, customers, IT departments
- Customize, deployment and maintenance of different hardware platforms
Background & Skills You may have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in embedded software, industrial communication and automation or similar. You have good experience in developing and debugging communication drivers for industrial communications protocols like USB, TCP/IP, CANbus and Modbus. If you have knowledge about embedded operating systems and experience working with bootloaders it. You have more than 5 years' experience with embedded electronics. You have solid inquisitive abilities and a positive and open attitude to cooperate across borders and cultures in an organization where we all empower each other. You enjoy working in a multicultural environment, and you are enthusiastic, and professional. You come with a specialist for translating business requirements into a scalable, committed and secure software code. Moreover, you are able to communicate both technical and business matters in a clear and concise language.
Furthermore, you have:
- Experience with system architecture design
- Knowledge of Agile SCRUM process
- Experience with system level design for and implementation of a commercial software application
- Knowledge of wireless solutions like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
- Experience with IEC-61131 programming languages
- Have a good knowledge both spoken and written of the English language
- Experienced in working with Agile development technologies
