Senior Business Developer, Group Financial Crime Prevention, Helsinki or Copenhagen
Do you thrive working in an international environment, developing future financial crime prevention solutions in collaboration with ambitious and highly competent colleagues? In Nordea we can in addition to the above offer fast-paced learning in the financial crime area as well as working in a SAFE Agile setup.
In today's world, change is the one thing you can count on. That's where you come in. Working with dedicated colleagues in an exciting, fast-paced environment, keeping Nordea compliant to regulations, and ultimately keeping Nordea and its customers and society safer.
We aim to be courageous and explorative in our approach to innovating better ways of fighting financial crime, and to do so we intend to lead the way in creating great solutions to meet new regulatory demands, and at the same time meet the needs of our customers. This means you'll have many opportunities to learn and grow as you build your career with us.

About this opportunity
You'll join our team in Sanctions Development & Solutions where you will lead and support initiatives to deliver changes and improvements to our Sanctions Screening capabilities. In this role you will be also part of our broader Sanctions Screening and Transaction Monitoring team within Nordea's Group Financial Crime Prevention unit.
You'll support the business by taking a leading role in process, change and IT development initiatives or projects to reduce risk and complexity, leading to high efficiency, minimizing financial crime risk and supporting great customer experience. You will have the opportunity collaborate across the entire financial crime value chain, and act as a valued sparring partner towards stakeholders.
Currently the team are working on several initiatives aligned to the key Nordea priorities, where an increasing amount of our initiatives are coordinated within Agile SAFe framework while certain projects continue to be run in traditional Project Management mode. In all we provide passionate and skilled people to make the development possible.
What you'll be doing:

  • Convert customer and business needs (i.e. customer value and regulatory demands) into development activities together with the team.
  • With the customer and Nordea in mind, you will also have the opportunity to come up with new ideas, and also to make our processes and ways of working more efficient.
  • Support our development initiatives to prioritize the right development items.
  • Facilitate the change initiatives you will be involved in.
You will be based in Helsinki or Copenhagen.
Welcome to a passionate team. We are devoted to act faster than financial crime. We collaborate to create the best foundation to develop as a team as well as individuals. You will have the opportunity to experience development in several areas which will open for future challenges.
