We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Project Manager to provide World Class, professional project sales execution - on Top, on Target, on Time! You will be responsible managing the sales project team during the sales phase, for the negotiation of Turbine Supply Agreements and opportunities of the new offshore wind projects that Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will have.

How to contribute to our vision

As Sales Project Manager within Siemens Gamesa more specifically you will be overall responsible for our solution packages and offers in response to customer’s requests for tenders and subsequently for negotiating the supply contracts, including internal coordination towards the global Sales team, Product Development, Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management and Contract Management and external stakeholder management customers, external advisors and lawyers, bank representatives, wind associations and government bodies. You will be instrumental in motivating the sales team throughout the process and for creating a frame for success in a highly paced and very professional environment. In this role you will also:

  • Identify and develop opportunities for assigned projects/accounts as appropriate
  • Overall be responsible for the sales project during the sales phase as well as for timely, competitive and compliant submission of tenders to customers
  • Overall be responsible for negotiation and conclusion of customer contracts, for project planning, reporting and follow up and for adherence to Siemens Gamesa´s sales processes
  • Motivate, support and develop a high performing sales project team
  • Set clear targets for team members, track progress and ensure timely delivery
  • Understand customer business case requirements and develop bid/negotiation strategies, ensure that customer requirements are reflected in both costing and planning
  • Ensure successful handover to project management upon contract signature

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for…

  • Extensive experience from international large-scale project management and/or project sales, preferably from the energy or entrepreneurial sector.
  • Experience of, and responsibility for, complex (sales) project management in multicultural teams and with highly professional customers.
  • Languages: proficiency in English is a must. Proficiency in German beneficial
  • People management skills and ability to motive and engage team members/colleagues
  • Excellent Commercial and Contractual understanding and negotiation skills
  • Experience with multi-contracting in large projects and an appreciation of how contracts are structured and interrelated.
  • Project management experience is desirable
