We're seeking a modern sales professional who is passionate about driving growth by leveraging people's performance through automation and data. As a key member of our senior management team, you'll be responsible for developing the strategies and leading the charge on sales activities that ensure we achieve our ambitious goals for an entire industry.

About the position

You will develop and implement effective sales strategies that shape the way we reach our large and mid-sized customers of our software and logistics solutions across Europe. You will play a vital role in driving growth and engagement with a meaningful impact on the success of our company.

We have only recently begun building a professional sales team, so you'll have the opportunity to set the direction and most of the team.

As Sales Director, you'll be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies and playbooks, across business areas and products
  • Designing, building, and managing sales teams
  • Setting and meeting sales targets, and monitoring performance to ensure predictability and results
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and developing relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing, revenue operations, service delivery, and data analytics, to ensure that efforts are aligned
  • Keeping in-touch with industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve
  • Communicating and sparring with our CEO to provide updates on sales performance and make recommendations for improvements
  • Continuously working to improve the sales process, tools, and team performance to achieve better results and increase efficiency and scalability

With a background in B2B software and preferably in an exponential growth setting, you have experience in building and managing highly effective sales teams that utilize data and automation to provide predictability and results. To be considered a highly attractive candidate for this role, you likely possess most of the following traits:
  • At least 5 years of experience with B2B software sales management, preferably from an exponential growth setting
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing effective sales strategies
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate others to create results
  • Self-starting and hands-on, being able to find your way in ambiguous settings and the roller coaster ride that a scale-up can be
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills in English and Danish
  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, at least at Bachelor level
  • Highly analytical and structured, with experience of using data and marketing automation tools such as Power BI, HubSpot, or similar
