For our Site Logistics team in Offshore Construction, we are looking for a dedicated Project Order Manager.

The Site Logistics team belongs to the SGRE Offshore Sales & Projects organization. The Site Logistics team is managing the demand and delivery of all necessary tools and equipment for any project worldwide, as well as managing all deliveries of any spare parts, within Business Unit Offshore.

As a Project Order Manager you play a vital role in the execution of our offshore wind farm projects. You work as an integrated member of each project’s Construction Management team – while referring back into the line organization of the Site Logistics team.

You will have a broad interface to internal stakeholders.

How to contribute to our vision

The Project Order Manager holds full responsibility of ordering and supplying all parts needed to assemble, install and commission the wind turbine of the offshore wind farm project.

Your main responsibilities and deliverables will include

  • Managing the definition and delivery of the tools package for the Windturbine Projects = one point of contact from Project towards supplier
  • Managing the ordering and delivery of spare parts, planned and unplanned
  • Managing the return from site for all tools and spare parts to ensure efficient utilization of all parts
  • Managing full transparency on scope, including all risks
  • Identifying risks and opportunities within the scope

You will become a part of an experienced team of colleagues, where respect, trust, knowledge-sharing, sparring and an increased focus on sustainability is key to continued development of the function.

You should expect approx. 10 days of travelling per year, supporting the Construction Team on site.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.

The ideal candidate has a background as Export Engineer (can be recently graduated) or comes with proven experience from project logistics environment or Supply Chain, combined with an ability to understand technical topics.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are fundamental for the role – including excellent English skills both orally and in writing and you possess profound skills in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar systems.

As a person, you are self-driven with a responsible and result-oriented approach to your work and when doing this, you understand how to act with respect and build trust. You bring a structured mindset, enabling you to address a number of diverse tasks on a daily basis – while “keeping the full overview” all along a project duration and you are a dedicated team player.

You are eager to join a global business with a tremendous growth rate and word-wide footprint expansion.

In return of your commitment we offer you…

Become a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to come. We are a global team of diverse colleagues who share a passion for renewable energy and have a culture of trust and empowerment to make our own ideas a reality. We focus on personal and professional development to grow internally within our organization.
