Danfoss Redan A/S is looking for a Plant Controller for the Silkeborg factory to support a stable growing business within the HydronicS Division (HD), including continuous improvements and capacity expansion.

The location of this role is in Silkeborg (Denmark). We expect you to work from our local factory site, but for the right candidate there will be some flexibility with working from home approx. 2 days a week. No regular travelling is required.

Job Responsibilities
As a Plant Controller in Danfoss Redan A/S, you will be responsible for the reporting line to the HD Factory Performance Director and at the same time be a finance partner for the Redan Factory Director, while also being responsible for local performance controlling, target setting, and planning.
Furthermore, you will also be part of a strong international controlling team, where we develop and maintain best practices for both local and global controlling. Here there will be rich opportunities for personal and professional development in plant controlling and potentially expansion into global controlling.
Key tasks and responsibilities within plant controlling will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Business partner for HD factory director in Silkeborg, Denmark.
• Drive local target setting and prepare for sign-off with business stakeholders.
• Follow-up on CAPEX budget, Building business case, analysis follow-up.
• Controlling of financials prepared by the FI accounting team at month-end closing.
• Monthly factory performance reporting, deviation analysis and sparing with Factory Director.
• Monthly Product costing and profitability analysis.
• Develop detail analysis and provide daily financial support for business operation.
• Annual standard cost update. Directs standard cost revaluations including scheduling, updating current cost files, revising department labor and machine rates, and developing new product costs.
• Monitor and facilitate local cost down initiatives.
Background & Skills
To be considered for this role, you should have minimum a bachelor's degree in finance/business administration, combined with experience within controlling or experience obtained in other relevant areas.
Furthermore, we expect that you:
• Have experience with MS office Excel and PowerPoint.
• Have knowledge of SAP (FICO), Power BI is an advantage.
• Are open minded, detail and result oriented, who can work independently with a proactive mindset
• Are a team player with effective communication and teamwork skills, who can collaborate with various stakeholders and influence decision making
• Demonstrate proficiency & fluency in Danish as well as English - both spoken and written
