Become the Manager of our Application Support Team in Solution and Service Delivery

The demand for global expansion and complex solutions set new expectations to our team and to you as our new Manager as Application Support bridges Kamstrup’s software development function with software application and operations. With direct reference to our Head of Global Service Hosting, you will become a part of our Service Hosting department, where you will become the Manager for a growing, energetic and well-qualified team of IT architects, DevOps Engineers, Platform Engineers and DBA´s. The team is highly specialized in supporting Kamstrup's unique software and work towards transforming the way of operating by utilizing the strengths of DevOps, CI/CD, micro-services approach and tooling like GitLab/GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Data Platform etc.
A job with focus on team leadership and driving the technical development of Application Support
In the newly established position as Manager for Application Support, you will be responsible for the team and we expect you to focus on team wellbeing, competence development, motivation and talent growth while acting as a filter for the team and manage resources to fit projects. Furthermore, your primary task is to secure the Application Support function, including the continuous development and maturation of tasks and projects. In addition, you will be responsible for different strategic initiatives as our Automation Strategy and Production Readiness Review is anchored in the department.
Specifically, your responsibility will be to:
- Secure the daily operation in the team with focus on a consistent high level of service
- Ensure a high degree of documentation and quality in the team
- Drive team transformation to include new methods like DevOps, DevSecOps and CI/CD
- Cooperate closely with architects and software development teams to convert our infrastructure and CI/CD processes to match scaling, security, and compliance requirements
Personality matters
We picture, that you hold a degree within IT or Software Engineering and have at least three years of experience with managing a team.
It considered an advantage if you have knowledge of some of the technologies below:
- DevOps
- CI/CD
- GitLab/GitOps
- Terraform
- Kubernetes
As a person, you are self-organized and like to create results in collaboration with others. You thrive in a position with many stakeholders and create strong collaborative ties on all levels of the organization. You possess strong communicative skills which enable you to clearly communicate directions and information to your team and stakeholders. You make decisions based on the knowledge at hand and use your pragmatic and logical approach to solve tasks and challenges. Furthermore, you like to take responsibility and want to make a difference by challenging status quo and optimize processes.
You are fluent in English both written and oral. Danish will be an asset.
