We are looking for a Program Manager to join the Central Marketing Organization (CMO).  

The Central Marketing Organization (CMO) leads integrated marketing excellence in planning and execution across commercial Solution Areas, consumer business, segments including SMB and Partner, and Marketing engines to drive business outcomes for the Area. With integrated marketing excellence, events & digital marketing expertise, and data-driven insights, CMO delivers quality customer and partner experiences at scale to maximize marketing impact across our connected customer journeys in alignment with global strategies and local business priorities. CMO embraces and promotes Global Demand Center (GDC) and Global Engagement Program (GEP) alignment, and drives Area marketing governance with Sales (including CDS), Solution Areas, Communications, and OCP. CMO builds clear linkage with Area priorities such as Customer Adds, Consumption, Skilling and Country. Responsibilities

The Program Manager supports marketing operations including: 

  • Management of marketing budget 
  • Serving as liaison and point of contact for Marketing Services Center (MSC) and Marketing Services Desk (MSD)  
  • Knowing what global content is available, reviewing localized Corp content, and ensuring global content is localized and used  
  • Supporting local compliance initiatives, working in partnership with Corp stakeholders (MAS, Privacy/GDPR, Brand, etc.) 
  • Supporting Voice of the Customer (VOTC) program, coordinating development of customer stories 

In addition, you will manage the Area device seeding program, delivering devices to customers and partners   

As part of the CMO team, this role understands deeply and embraces Microsoft’s Marketing principles and brand stewardship, Accessibility Standards compliance, and Privacy/GDPR, while contributing to driving marketing operations efficiency, marketing impact, and scale. This role has Program Management and Localization Reviewer responsibility to support the Area’s marketing programs that align with global strategies.  

The role sits within the Program Management team which forms the backbone of marketing in the Area by driving efficiencies in marketing processes, promoting content excellence, and maintaining 100% compliance in the Area.  

You will need to understand global engagement programs aligned to the portfolio they support including the global content strategy and centralized demand generation plans to connect local marketing efforts. This role is passionate about contributing to the team’s overall success. You are a constant learner who can help land and streamline processes, so the team can function seamlessly together.

  • his role manages the device seeding program which delivers devices for trial to customers and partners. This requires project management, internal communication with Western Europe Executive team and Surface Business Group leads, vendor management, budget management, reporting, tracking and analytics (40% of time
  • This role supports marketing operations across CMO workstreams to ensure seamless process flow and smooth marketing execution landing including management of Marketing Services Desk (MSD) and Marketing Services Center (MSC). Works closely with Program Lead to track budget within CMO (10% of time
  • Support Content Adoption & Localization Reviewers by knowing global content availability, managing the timely review of commercial and consumer localization requests from Corp, working with relevant stakeholders particularly for specialized reviews as warranted, and ensuring content adoption and usage. This role actively engages with Corp teams on a predictable cadence to increase accuracy, terminology consistency, and local relevancy of Corp localized content. (20% of time) 
  • Project manage customer story development for Voice of the Customer program, liaising with customers, sales teams, partners, and agencies producing the stories. Take active role in story distribution and reporting. (20% of time) 
  • Aligns with CMO Integrated Marketing and Business Groups on all content (Global Engagement Program (GEP) & Non-GEP) requirements to forecast workflow and anticipate peak times. (10% of time) 

Qualifications

Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge: 

  • This is an Early In Career position, meaning we require 0-4 years of work experience (preferably marketing) 
  • Demonstrate learning agility – ability to learn fast and fail faster 
  • Be a natural collaborator - build on the ideas of others and share your ideas willingly 
  • Obsessed with delivering a compelling customer experience connected to business outcomes and embrace Marketing Automation concepts 
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills; English language fluency. Strong anticipatory skills in delivering accurate marketing executionand marketing operations excellence  
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) preferred but not required
