Therefore, we are looking for a talented IT Operations Engineer for our Core Service Department.
With direct reference to our Support & Operations Manager, you will become part of a growing team consisting of 17 dedicated colleagues, who all work towards ensuring stable IT solutions in an international organization. The team is responsible for daily operational tasks on Kamstrup’ s internal IT systems and infrastructure such as maintenance, handling of errors and troubleshooting. The departmental culture is informal and internal collaboration is highly valued.
A job with focus on daily operation and Continuous Improvement
In the position as IT Operations Engineer you will be part of very well functional Team responsible for all operational aspects of Kamstrup’ s infrastructure using modern Cisco and Microsoft technologies as well as VMware. Therefore, you will be expected to generate continuous ideas for improving our systems and infrastructure, while taking an active role in operationalizing these ideas.
More specifically, your tasks includes:
- Participation in daily operations of Kamstrup’ s infrastructure, network, and servers
- Centralized monitoring of IT-systems including the handling of alarms and errors
- Incidents and requests based on implemented procedures in the ITSM system
- Technical responsibility for the operation and development of selected systems
- Maintenance and improvements as a part of change management
Personality matters
We are looking for a talented IT Operations Engineer. We imagine that you have an educational background as Data Technician or similar combined with a few years of experience within IT operation. In addition, it will be considered an advantage if you have experience in one or more of following areas:
- Cisco network-infrastructure and products
- Exchange
- Service Now/ITSM
- Intune
- Enterprise IT-Operations
As a person you are ambitious and work in a structured and systematic way by nature. This means that your tasks are always of high quality and completed within the given deadline. Moreover, you are proactive as well as curious why you always meet people with a smile. Lastly, you thrive when working in teams, where professional sparring and knowledge sharing is a natural part of the workday.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish will be an advantage.
