Job Description
Within Group Strategic Planning we are looking for a new young talent; the department is an instrumental part of Group CFO to support definition and then delivery of Group strategy. Indeed, the team is in charge of defining and monitoring Group Business Plan, coordinating Group Budget and Forecasting activities, act as a CEO/CFO office to support Top Management with analysis on strategic topics for the Group. The department is an international integrated team across countries of young talents with different backgrounds (consulting, engineering..) and supports mainly Group CFO and CEO agenda in their strategic decisions. Moreover, as Group Strategic Planning team member you will be in close contact with an open and sharing international community with highly skilled colleagues, both in CFO area and in the Business functions.
Together with the Group Strategic team your key tasks and responsibilities are to:
- Support Group Business Plan, Group Budget and Forecasting activities, including financial modelling, standard and ad-hoc analysis to understand underlying assumptions and business implications
- Prepare CEO /CFO presentations for Budget, Forecast, Business Plan etc. jointly with the business and relevant managers/stakeholders where needed
- Support Investor Relation department in case of market communications (e.g. quarterly presentations, capital markets day, new M&As) with ad-hoc analysis mainly on Budget and Business Plan implications of new announcements
- Support with analysis of business performance, deep-dives, reviews of key drivers of performance
- Use insights from actual financial performance to develop forward looking statements and flag risks / opportunities versus targets/forecast
- Provide proactive initiatives and proposals to create more value to the Group
Qualifications
Skills, motivation and that little personal twist make you succeed
Your qualifications include ideally:
- Management/Finance/Engineering degree
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a Finance/Strategy department or consulting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to the details while being able to communicate complex financial figures in a clear, precise, and understandable manner
- Fluent English both written and spoken is a must as we work in highly international environment
- Experienced user within Excel for financial modelling and Power Point is a must, Think cell and SAP Analysis for Microsoft office is plus
