Sonic Minds is an agency, who create audio strategies, concepts, music and sound design to a wide array of brands all over the world. We are currently looking for a Client Director and sales lead, focused on generating potential opportunities with clients across the world.

The position

Your primary role will be to drive growth by increasing the flow of prospective deals into the Sales Pipeline and/or leading the qualified opportunities through all deal maturity phases to successful wins. This includes turning leads into qualified opportunities and executing on inbound- and outbound leads. Overall, you will be responsible for all commercial activity and when time is right you will also be responsible for building your own commercial sales team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying potential leads by positioning deep industry-based value propositions leveraging Sonic Minds' industry insight, assets, references, and cases.
  • Developing relationships with potential buyers through personal meetings, presentations, speaking engagements, business networking or other business or social gatherings.
  • Developing strategies and tactics for penetration of new accounts and cross selling to establish accounts.
  • Setting and leading pursuit teams from initial client meetings through all phases of the sales and deal cycle.
  • Supporting/participating in any oral proposal activities, developing, and reviewing written proposals.
  • Initiate dialogues with business partners and expand our network off collaborators
  • Maintaining a keen sense of marketplace intelligence of trends and competition to provide market leading perspectives, emerging trends, tools and techniques that can be effectively utilized to develop and promote business.
  • Articulating what Sonic Minds brings: relevant assets and capabilities including Market Offerings; Vision; Process Framework; Key Messages; Credentials; Tools.
  • Tracking and communicating progress against sales goals and targets.
  • Tight collaboration with our team of consultants and marketing specialists.
Your profile

The ideal candidate:
  • Is located in Denmark and able to work at our Copenhagen office.
  • Has several years of selling/business development experience, ideally in the agency and branding space with b2b clients.
  • Has deep industry insight and understanding of one or multiple industry segments.
  • Has the ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable.
  • Has a relevant master's degree.
  • Has advanced sales and deal orchestration/leadership skills.
  • Has excellent business acumen and industry acumen.
  • Has proven global expertise and perspective; executive level presence and influence.
  • Has exceptional communication in English (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Has strong organizational, multi-tasking, time-management, and analytical skills.
  • Is extrovert, creative and competitive.
  • Can work in fast-paced teams but also work independently.
  • Is tech-savvy and has an interest in start-ups.
  • Works proactively, structured, with attention to detail and is not afraid to voice ideas.
  • Is passionate about sound and music.
