We are looking for

A passionate and ambitious individual who has either already taken the first step into a professional sales career or is ready to become a true sales professional. As a Business Development Representative, you play a crucial part in our organisation and sales team helping our customers located in Sweden from our headquarters in Copenhagen.

In this role, you'll

  • Outbound activities by building a healthy pipeline by phone, email, and other channels
  • Qualify ideal customer profile prospects
  • Account mapping to ensure we know the right stakeholders
  • Build sales cadences and nurture flows for prospects
  • Influencer marketing research, so you become an expert within the space
What you'll need to succeed
  • Perfect command of Swedish, both written and oral, as well as sufficient English language skills (negotiation level)
  • Driven and motivated individual that is willing to put in the effort to become successful
  • The desire to become an expert within the field
  • Comfortable speaking to senior stakeholders
  • Can-do attitude and a problem solver
  • Curious by nature and willing to learn new things
  • B2B sales experience is a plus, but not required

Blackbird is developing IIoT solutions in data collection and production monitoring. The idea behind Blackbird is to provide products and services that will reduce wasted resources within companies and improve how people live and work together. We created a solution to collect data from manufacturing lines and display real-time raw and critical insights everywhere.

Our plug-and-play hardware can be installed in minutes and, when combined with our proprietary web-based software, gives you unprecedented insights from anywhere and on any device. Blackbird solutions are sold in over 25 countries, with offices in Denmark and US. After a recent funding round, we are currently scaling significantly across the globe.

Our Interview process

  • A 30-minute call with Khristel, our recruiter, to discuss Blackbird and learn more about you. We'll set expectations for the rest of the process and provide a question-and-answer period.
  • You will be invited for a second interview if all goes well. We love to meet up face-to-face over a coffee with our head of sales, Christian Lindvall
  • Last interview a grandfather interview with our CCO. Søren Traumer Schønnemann.
  • The practicalities (45m): Closing talk with our leadership team in which you will agree on compensation, starting date, and all other practical details.
