About the role:

We're in the early stages, which means our ideal customer is still a mystery waiting to be solved. That's where you come in. We need you to be our fearless explorer, spending your days engaging customers, locking in demos, trials, and subscriptions. You'll be the automotive industry translator, speaking the language of processes, trends, pains, and best practices. You're a ninja when it comes to using tools to be at the frontlines of productivity tools. Think of yourself as the bridge between our revolutionary solution and the car world's needs.

Simplicity is key to our success. We want someone easygoing, capable of making complex topics feel like a friendly chat. You'll need to understand the ins and outs of the industry, from different areas to various brands.

Now, let's talk about us. We're a small, tight-knit startup with a sales team of 2. If you're ready to take a leap, consult with us, and have a heart-to-heart with your friends about the pros and cons of joining at this stage. Carlos is leading the Sales team, focusing on building a structure that empowers you and secures customers once they're in the funnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Crush monthly, quarterly, and yearly lead-generation goals.
  • Hunt down potential customers and generate leads through outbound prospecting.
  • Initiate conversations with prospects through cold calls and emails.
  • Qualify leads and gather valuable information during initial contact.
  • Follow up on leads diligently and keep internal systems updated.
  • Organize both digital and in-person meetings with prospects.
  • Set the stage for the Customer Success Manager to convert and grow customers.
  • Map and prospect big corporate clients like a boss.
  • Build genuine relationships and trust with prospects.
  • Impress C-level executives and lay the groundwork for long-term partnerships.
  • Showcase focalx brilliantly, catering to each customer's specific interests.
  • Handle inbound leads and promptly respond to inquiries.
  • Master the market, including customers, prospects, partners, and competitors.
  • Monitor CRM system and take strategic actions based on prospect behavior.
Profile:
  • You're a sales superstar with 5+ years of proven success in the automotive industry.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (bonus points for additional languages).
  • A master of persuasion with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Building relationships with C-level executives is second nature to you.
  • You have a strong technical understanding and a genuine interest in the industry.
  • You're a problem-solver with a systematic approach and sales best practices in your DNA.
  • Your presentation and persuasion skills are off the charts.
  • LinkedIn is your secret weapon, and you use it like a pro.
  • Experience with tools like HubSpot and LinkedIn SalesNavigator is a plus.
  • A vast network within the global automotive industry is a plus.
  • You thrive in working independently and have a structured work style.
