Tembi is a European SaaS platform that empowers businesses to make proactive decisions and navigate towards their goals. Our vision is to answer questions in every industry, but we have started with e-commerce and real estate where we collect the right data to forecast & predict answers to questions like this:

Tembi is developed by an internal team that poses all the competencies involved in building data-driven SaaS web products. For the backend developer position, we are looking for someone who feels at home programming in languages such as Javascript or Python, who enjoys creating connections and solving problems and who will collaborate on and discuss solutions with colleagues.
As a small team, we have many different responsibilities and the day is filled with interesting challenges. On a day-to-day basis, you will be a key player in our agile development process, and part of sprint planning, team retrospectives and setting the right product vision and road map. We want to take new ideas to our customers quickly and measure the outcome to make sure we create the right value. Key Responsibilities - Backend development using Python or Javascript for our products from the Copenhagen office.
- Building new features, and maintenance of existing features that align with our customer needs.
- We help our customers succeed in their jobs, and build features that truly make a difference for them.
- Engage deeply with our product tech stack. Comprehensive knowledge of every layer isn't essential, but a passion for learning and collaboration is
- Prioritize the voice of our customers, ensuring we align our development strategies to their requirements.
Other things you might be asked to help with:- Design, build & operate our data layer to enable internal and external use of data.
- Build high-performing pipelines and automate the process. We are currently building out a scalable, digestible data platform and love to hear input on how it should work
- Research new technologies and spark our team with new ideas on how to continuously improve ways of working with data to deliver business value
- Help provide the right data at the right time to enable the team to answer the right questions for our customers.
- Finding the best coffee and breakfast place in Christianshavn
To qualify you would need to have some experience or be familiar with these tools & concepts:- Knowledge of programming languages Python, Javascript
- Proficiency in data modeling and design, including SQL development and database administration
- Deploying infrastructure in cloud environments
- SQL and building relational databases
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azure)
- Experience in building and maintaining APIs based on data warehouse
- Experience in building a product is a huge plus, though not strictly mandatory
