Are you an experienced IT Product Manager (PM), do you have lots of experience with agile ways of working and do you want to make a difference within the Commercial IT area? If you can answer yes these questions, then you should join our agile transformation at Arla Foods!. We want to strengthen the Product Manager function and require a strong profile to strengthen our delivery capabilities to all new IT Commercial solutions. You will join our IT Solutions team with 200+ other colleagues located in Denmark, Germany, Poland and UK.

An engaged Commercial Product Manager with strong stakeholder management skills and a lot of passion  

The PM role has a focus on keeping the Commercial ways of working with IT ahead of the curve. It covers all organization elements of the Commercial business such as eCom, Retail Execution Systems, Trade Promotions and many other solutions. Your main task is to ensure the business impact and value of our IT investments and that investments are prioritized and staffed timely. Stakeholder management and communication skills are crucial for your success and you will have stakeholders on all levels of the organizations so you bring confidence and strong commercial awareness to the table.

You will be a key player in our organisation as you facilitate the SAfe processes for the  release train. You will work closely in the management of the program with the Solution Architects, Release Train Engineer, Business Change Managers and many others from across the IT organisation.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

  • Securing funding for the program; reporting and mobilizing the teams including the daily coaching to ensure high performance
  • Creating the program/train roadmap, updating and prioritizing backlogs using WSJF and creating architecture and business impact assessment
  • Participation in the PI planning presenting the vision as well as relevant upcoming milestones
  • Participate in demos and Inspect&Adapt
  • People manager for some team members
  • Implementing SAFE principles and best practices for the program/train
  • Building an effective Product Manager/Product Owner team where  you manage the delivery of great features to the business.

You will travel approx. 20 days per year to meet colleagues and partners around the world.

Great Facilitator with a high focus on Business impact and creating change

You bring a relevant master degree and a minimum of 5 years experience of working with IT projects and programmes within an Agile setup. The nature of the role means a strong commercial awareness and understanding is important in order to successfully navigate in a complex stakeholder environment. You are just at home sitting in a Commerical team meeting as you are in an IT one. Outstanding communication skills (in English) come naturally, where you thrive in engaging with people from different backgrounds and cultures to successfully deliver objectives.

Joining an ambitious and knowledgeable team working on complex challenges, we are looking for someone who will challenge others but also encourages the challenge of your own decisions in pursuit of the best delivery to the business. It is important you can demonstrate being able to successfully guide a team in a technical area, without necessarily having in-depth knowledge of all the technology involved.

You are results-oriented and focused on achieving goals with the priority deliverables and have the ability to ensure the teams, product owners, program management team and business have a great collaboration.
